Turmoil continues at the ABC, the result of the progressive stacking of the ABC board by the Howard government. The legacy of the Howard years will take so long to overturn. 

Australia went to war in Iraq to protect out wheat trade. For the record. Such are the times we live in, this has not raised a flicker of interest anywhere else in the media. It adds more fuel to the suspicion that the government had knowledge of the kickbacks the wheat board was paying in Iraq. 

I watched Italy win through to the final of the World Cup early this morning. Two goals in the last 90 seconds of extra-time! Of course if you just hear the blunt score, 2 - 0, you have no idea of the drama.
