I wonder if it would be possible to track across-blog conversations with outlining? You enter the url of a post into an application, and it then provides you with all reponses to the post in a threaded outline tree.  

I'm making half a giant flower at the moment, a cross-section. The head is about a metre wide. I'm excited because today I should get to assemble some of the bits so the whole starts coming together. With four projects on the go at the moment, my studio is such a mess it's driving me to distraction, especially with Dave's faces taking up floor space. 

Geoffrey Robinson on the Hicks case. As an aside, its interesting that Robinson defines the Aussie idiom 'bush lawyer as a hick councellor, ignorant of the law". I think it is more someone who uses rules and regulations and splitting hairs to get around authority. Maybe Robinson has lived in England too long! However his article is otherwise spot on.
