I have been working on a medium sized Java application at work the last several weeks. It has inspired me to think seriously about an idea that I had for an application that I want to write and share with the world. I'm going to be a bit cagey about what the application will be right now (like certain others that will remain nameless:-)), but I promise that I will announce it here first when it's ready to meet the world.

I had another little techno-epiphany last night. I realized that when I have a really productive coding session I get much the same kick as I do when I'm playing a musical instrument. A friend of mine calls those productive coding sessions code fugues. The musical metaphor is really apropos.
