It's A New Year! 
I finally found enough slack to look into why I was having trouble posting to my Wordpress blog (Occasional Comment). When I applied the required patch to xmlrpc.php I messed up the file privileges. When I fixed that (mode 644), it worked.
Sprint to June
I'm in a similar situation again. I've got another ambitious project with an impossible schedule. Actually, it's just the next phase of the old project. The good news is that I have some input in the planning stage of this phase. I joined the project well into the implementation phase last year.
I'm hoping to steer my team toward a number of agile practices. I've already convinced them to adopt Test Driven Development with JUnit. Now, I've got to set an example. I think it will ease our development effort immensely when we get rolling.
