I'm Addicted 
Over the holidays I picked up a bad addiction, Sudoku. I've done any number of puzzles on the web and have managed to work half of the printed puzzles in the book my wife bought for me. Today, she bought me another book. The book has three puzzles that you can use to enter a contest online. I could live with winning $1000 for working a Sudoku :-).
Back on the air!
After a week without my laptop, I'm back on the air again. Last Wednesday, it took 5 tries to get it to boot. I copied the critical files that might have changed since my last backup and called in a help desk ticket. It took them until Monday to get the replacement drive in. I've been busily restoring files since then. Today I noticed that they had replaced my 40G drive with a 60G drive. This is good. It means I'll be able to go another 6 months to a year before I run out of space again.
I took notes this time and I'm being very careful about where I put things. This should make it easier to backup and if and when I get to upgrade to that Dell Precision M70 laptop that I asked for, I should be able to move in with much less effort.
