Thursday, January 26, 2006So in a fit of cleaning out my home directory, including getting rid of the OPML directory I was sure I didn't need anymore, I stumbled across a second OPML directory, and of course that's the one that OPML.app has actually been looking in. Now the NewsRiver stuff is working beautifully, and it's even nicer than I had thought it would be. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who finds the Frontier-derived environment a bit esoteric, but that's just an IDE and server; the real interface is what shows up in the browser. Very, very nice. 
...but it seems that the stuff in www of teh OPML folder I just threw away was the one and only place where my entries here dating back to November were stored. Sigh. (Repeats to self: I know it's not supposed to be idiot proof...)
