opml editor is amazing for blogs. this comes as close as i've seen to my idea of how blogging should be (figures, because a lot of that concept is based on scripting.com) why can't it use a web based editor? this is all very simple, right? i don't want to be pinned down to my desk. the whole awesomeness of this (for me anyway) is how it liberates. this reminds me of another idea i had - jabber blogs (jabberbloggy?). basically you'd chat with your blog, totally eliminating the resistance to posting - super easy and thanks to meebo/gtalk/etc, mobile. the ultimate tumblelog. plus, other people could join in. i wonder if that could be rolled into this somehow. why is this so slow? is it because i'm scanning my newsriver at the same time? for that matter, why is this a carbon app? honestly, it feels even older than that... i could swear those reveal triangle widgets predate os 8. what's going on here? one thing i don't really understand... why is this an outline? i guess that's a pretty fundamental thing not to understand, come to think of it. but seriously -- how often do people actually nest posts? in most cases, doesn't this amount to bullet points? |
