I have been a lazy blogger. Lots of items to post, just to lazy to type them in. One instructional strategy I would like to share: Quizlet.com. My students are interested in using it to learn vocabulary. However, they are also curious about using Quizlet's messaging feature. It is like passing notes was back in the day. The only thing, it that this is not very smart. Minds wonder enough without having to monitor constant messaging. I have asked the folks that have developed this tool to make it somehow an optional feature or one that the teacher could monitor or be CC all messages. Complicates the code, but I am not comfortable with this part. I have looked at Quizzlet, but it is not free. Quizzlet is very affordable. However, our school budget has been spent for this school year.  Permanent link to this item in the archive.
