Celestia -- A Free Space Simulator Celestia is a free, 3D space simulator for both Mac and Windows with oodles of real and fictional add-ins. Spectular views of the solar system and beyond all from the comfort of your chair in your pajamas. Mac Video Screen Capture to Flash With Sound? Nope! Why doesn't someone create a video screen capture program that exports to Flash? There is one for Windows called Camtasia Studio that works really well but nothing -- strangely -- for Mac. I have Snapz Pro X which is excellent except that it creates huge QT movies. I've looked at Screenography which does export to Flash but -- and there is always a "but" -- it doesn't record sound. Btw, a bete noir of mine are so-called "Training Screen Videos" with no sound; what's up with that? What you generally see is typing that is too small to read with a cursor flying over the screen clicking on an unreadable menu item first here and then there. Unhelpful and bad! The worst kind of learning tool! What I want is Snapz Pro X that exports to Flash or Screenography that includes sound. Both companies say that I will get my wish "any day now". If such a program exists, I'd like to hear about it. |
