You can tell we have a problem when a national journal is created to analyze it. Recent plagiarisms by journalists and non-fiction authors suggest cultural acceptance or, at least, a shifting of definitions and standards. Plagiarism is, of course, a national academic epidemic though it isn't new. This journal appears to be a serious forum for investigating this phenomenon and for placing it within a larger, cultural context. Stolen Words.
