Mac Screen Capture Programs Why is it that there isn't a single Mac screen capture program that exports to Flash? There are at least four that do so for Windows but nary a one for Mac. Snapz Pro X, which we own, offers all the ways you'd want to capture screens including movies but only exports to QT files. I was told by a person at Ambrosia Software -- they wrote Snapz Pro -- that they were working on saving Flash files. That was a year ago! We'd very much like to produce a series of screencasts but need the smaller Flash format for streaming. It really baffles me that something lke Camtasia Studio doesn't exist for the Mac. |
