No Changes! Permanent link to this item in the archive.

No. Updates to this blog are not showing up on chnages.opmlo.rg

Why is that?

I was streaming the live audio from here at OPMLCamp into my land in Second Life. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Hmmm appears to be at my 'old' OPML blog Permanent link to this item in the archive.

but does the feed update now? And in changes? No, It stopped doing that a while ago (see below) - possibly still being 'punished'. Hmm feed seems ok.

btw.. . killfiled? odd Permanent link to this item in the archive.

my feed does dot appear to show up on changes.opml.org - possibly, I've been killfiled? I doubt it - but if so, then there's a feature in the OPMLCS I didn't know about. 'Anti-splog'. Hmmm... odd. oh well.

Feeds and Links Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Now, the 'Add Feed' right-click feature has found its way into the Editor build - and notably supports Atom 0.3 too - I decided to upgrade my icons. I think the recognised 'feed' image should be applied here. While I was there I updated my link icon too.

Here's a link to the .bmp files for rss.bmp and link.bmp

I found them (and you can replace them) in the Appearance/icons folder in your OPMLE install folder.

It's a wrap? Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Did Dave wrap it up?

You may well be wondering... Permanent link to this item in the archive.

.. what I'm doing back here. Well, to be honest I really miss it. And I miss all you users and readers. But it has been very productive for me to take a seat in the back and get on with the pile of projects I have going on here, since leaving the BBC. I really needed to do it. It was getting a bit overwhelming.

So, why else am I here? I have some 'toys' brewing here which people will be able to embed on their blogs and sites etc, which have the abilty to pump all sorts of useful and entertaining data through. Podcasts. And why here? Well, it's all powered and organised by OPML and RSS you see! And what better place to try stuff out than here?

Stay tuned, because we'll be throwing open the doors to podcast.com pretty soon!

The 'Ghost' of Kosso 1.0 thinks... Permanent link to this item in the archive.

... that Dave 2.0 will be all the all nicest bits about Dave 1.0 and should be alot more fun. A little bit like Web 2.0 is like Web 1.0, only better! Slicker! Higher resolution!

I wonder which version/install will be at GnomeDex06?

Dave : keep on truckin', whatever version you decide to release of yourself, it's sure to be good. I mean it.

You can hack / upgrade yourself to have any features you like. And that's a cool thing to be able to do :)

Also, you can take as long as you like during the upgrade. Hey, it never hurt Microsoft. Right? ;)

you can't stop. it's in yer blood! maybe less posting about tech gripes - more essays of positive philosophy.

taking a big step back to stop is a good thing. but you never stop for good I think. unlike smoking.

look here! I said I wouldn't use this system again. But I am!! Argh!! I'm hooked!
