Never seen this archive page before. May have read some of them though.

And now some music...

CIMG2850I don't know how many other usenet users there still are out there, but this evening I seem to have spent hours in various golden oldie mp3 groups, slurping up stuff that catches my eye and adding it to the playlist. I love doing this, with the good old Celestion 66 Studio Monitors pumping out like they always did when the previous owner, an old friend, had them before he died. He sold these speakers to me for £100 about a year before he passed on to the great rock'n'roll festival in the sky. I wasn't allowed to have them until I had a decent place to put them in. I wish old Nick could have heard all the music pouring out of them here.

I love music. Sometimes I forget just how much. A little bit like forgetting how much I love the countryside and the people there. Easily done when you've got your head permanently stuck to a screen.

But then, I was stuck to the screen when a rediscovered some music which inspired this 'diary' entry. So, hey, it aint all bad, eh?

And (re)dicsovering The Masked Marauders is no bad thing either :) heh.

I've also been doing some mashups which I may release on podcast at some stage. ;)

REMEMBER, REMEMBER... Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I've no idea when this dates back to, but I think it's rather apt in today's nascent web2.0 world

Heh. Do you reckon it's a long Matrix-like leather jacket?

RADIOCASTING Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Radio Archos TransmitterOK, so it's not entirely legal, but with this AudiaX transmitter hooked up to my pc amp in the main room at the front of our house, I can pick up podcasts from any room in the house on the radio! Even the bathroom! Yay! Screw the radio! Now *I* choose what to hear.

We don't have a waterproof mp3 player, but we do have a waterproof radio :)

By all accounts these ones have much better performance than the iTrip. Also you can choose your frequency on the digital display. 88 - 108 MHz. Not bad!
