HAPPY FESTIVUS! Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I have lots of 'feats of strength' clips from Festivus yore. Good times.

We're just off out to a M.A.S.S. gig at midnight, of course ;) Woo haa!

We recorded our present opening ceremony for a festive Bluggcast ;)

Interested in the future of Television and on-demand media? Hack on over to listen to her talk about it with the BBC's Ashley Highfield and others about how they think things are going to evolve on BBC Radio 4' 'You and Yours' programme.

update: Opera denies rumours of a Microsoft takeover

Wowoee. It sounds like Microsoft have aquired Opera! (The news site link found from Scripting.com is down now - see memeorandum for more discussion and undoubtedly more news and blog stories, as people wake up to this news) That would mean there will be a Microsoft browser in every Nokia phone (I *think* they all have Opera as default)!! One thing this could do is help unify the mobile browser market and therefore make the lives of those who develop smart mobile web apps easier. (Does mobile opera support XMLHttp requests? )

Also, any chance of getting rid of the piece of crap which is Mobile Internet Explorer will be very welcome.

But, even then, I would say they should have got Access Netfront, which has the best features imho (for PocketPC) - One main thing for me, is that mobile IE never supported the simple form tag input type=file - which is used for file browse and upload.

See what I'm getting at? Uhuh!!
