OK. Let's say that rather than 'just' have a webpage generated by the cool new newsRiver tool, how easy would it be for the developer of the newsRiver (hi dave!) to have it optionally output an RSS feed to a given local folder (which could then obviously be placed beyond 'www' and therefore upstreamed whenever it changed? (Making it subscribable to apps or others) I think having an RSS feed of your 'river'page would be so incredibly useful. I could even write a simple Flash RSS reader for people (windows users) to pop into their main OPML Editor window (as it is just HTML) - though this window is not available for the Mac version, iirc. So, I want the OPML Editor NewsRiver to provide my 'spliced feed' or latest news from my subscripions, but then I want to be able to present this data in some very useful (and entertaining) ways! ;) You give me the feed, I'll take you to my river
to 'real' work today. Boo! See you all in Boston next week! Hurrah! |
