TO BEARD OR NOT TO BEARD 

I'm off out now to buy a suit, for some important meetings next week. But, I'm also wondering : do I keep the beard? Some say it makes me look kinder, some say I look more authoritative, some say I look like a woodsman. I dunno. I quite like it, and the Doctoe like it too.

I read an interesting article once about men with beards and whether there was a correllation with how successful they were. Psychologists say that people do treat people with beards differently. Something about attention and focus and actually listening to people with beards. Something to do with looking at the face and mouth. Goes back thousands of years, they think. Seems understandable, back in the days when nobody shaved at all and it would have been the first visible sign of maturity. (Hey, mine's grey!)

I think I'll buy one of those beard strimmers today and tidy it up a bit then decide. Hmmmmm... *scratches chin*.
