Last night I copied over nearly 3000 tracks from various machines here to the new Mac Mini.

I then dragged them all into the Library and tonight I hit shuffle a few times and it did the job.

With the new Mac Mini hooked up to my 1970's Celestion 66 Studio Monitors via an old Sansui A/V swicher/amp it's actually pretty good at this.

I'm rather smitten with all the gloopy animations.

It's a shame I'm going to have to wait too (far?) long to get anything close to this experience with a Windows machine.

fyi: I have built and used Windows PCs throughout my career. I wish I could say the same for Macs. But they have never given me the opportunity to build one of their machines,

That's my main reason for avoiding Apple. The only reason I am trying out all this stuff is to really see what people see in it - with my Geminian / see both sides hat on.

It's the only way.
