Flissl from 'space'! Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Hey! You can now just see the 'flissl' sign I put up next to the RSS Platform in Second Life (on the map in the side bar here). :) I just got hold of the land next door too : it's called the 'RSS Platform Shared Extension' ;) Simple! Heh

RodeOPML Update Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Now a further update to these cool new developments via el Fluffy Dave. What you need to realise is that the directory currently on podcast.com is *just* the feeds I am subscribed to. I manage the OPML that created it using tools I've built here. Soon: you will be able to create your own account and effectively create your own version of podcast.com, using the same tools we use to manage our stuff. Naturally, all the feeds and OPML you create will also be shareable at *any* level/branch/folder (or whatever you want to call it). With OPML inclusion from user to user and user to the outside world of OPML possible, this will be very interesting, we think. I think you will too. Your patience is appreciated ;)

Share Your OPMLOdeo Rodeo Ho Ho Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Dave points out new stuff on Odeo which sounds like SYO. Well, it all sounds very much like the podcast.com / treedia.com system which I've been telling him about for some time too! heh. *nudge nudge*

When I get all the multi user interfaces flowing and people signing up (we hope) then you'll see what I mean. Think 'TREE OF SOUND' - or Tree Of Media

It's coming together - slowly - soon I hope to be able to get some help, as all this is too much for one person, if we want to keep up the momentum. The hardest part might be translating the system in my head, with all the pices I have built, to explain what needs to be strapped together to make the system as I see it.

The way I see it : it works!

Inclusion is a great enabler.

The years pile on Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Gawd. After today, I'll have been on this planet for a whole 35 years. That's a bit of a mind-blower. Am I where I expected to be after all this time? Yes. And no. Oh well. Strive on. So much to do in the short and long term. And so many planets.
