Are voiceindigo hijacking your feed too? Here is their page for the Bluggcast. The only link back to my site I can see is the image. Not one link back to the episode, mp3 or domain url. This disturbs me slightly, but I'd love to know what others think. They also offer the free service to send an encoded version of my podcast to my mobile. They transcode the MP3 to an AMR version for mobiles. When I tested this, I saw a hit on the file come from a server in the US, then I was sent an SMS from a server in Austria to download the encoded version.
The question is : should they have asked me? Should they link to me? Should they let me know that they downloaded and cached the file for anyone else who might want a particular episode (a second test sent the file to another mobile, but there was no hit on my server) Technically speaking, I think it's a great service they have put togther, as I have worked quite a bit in the past on various solutions like this for the BBC, dealing with various formats and media. But, ethically - what do you think?
