Tom sees the beauty and efficiencies in caching ;) Nice.

S'funny, I'm sat here doing a similar thing, while rewriting how the podcast.com directories render. I also tried out my scripts on Doug Englebart's Hyperscope opml. Looks great! I'll show you when I'm done. ;) And now he's given me the idea of slapping my hosting.opml.org daily opml file. Hmmmm :) In fact - I have work to do

Facebook Facelift Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Nice to see Facebook, one of the uber-community sites get a facelift from the TRULY AWFUL designs of old.

I'm really amazed by the amounts of people who use sites like MySpace, YouTube etc, given that the websites themselves seem so very 'Web 0.7' - Sooo many page loads to navigate the sites. I wonder what the Facebookers out there will make of it. Have they shot themselves in the foot? We shall see.

I see they have a nice 'FaceRiver' too! Nice.

OPML To Hit Hyperspace Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Great to see another cool application for OPML. Hyperscope comes from the mind of Doug Englebart, the inventor of hypertext and the mouse. It uses OPML as it's underlying data source with an XSL transform and clever AJAXy stuff to do the UI.

Let's hope it gets as much attention and evolution as his previous ideas . Another excellent testament to the power of OPML!

I note that they use the attribute type=inclusion, as opposed to 'include' though.
