Dave, we need to build a version of activeRenderer on the server that is rendering the outline on the server.

I presume it is a Manila server, so it should not be a problem.

This way, blog posts would be neatly outlined on the server.

That is another reason to have activeRenderer on the server: we could allow the publication of everyone's instant outline on the web, for non OPML Editor users to check out.

Just saved the default blogroll. Here is another place where activeRenderer would do a great job server side.

rendering OPML to DHTML in Usertalk is too CPU intensive, it would eventually bring the Manila server down.

Better to do the rendering client side, and figure out a way of blending the DHTML into the template instead of the OPML.
