Pacificon has decided not to do patches because they lose lots of money every year.I got an estimate from American Patch for $1.85 for 100 ... If we sold 80 at $2.50, we'd break even.

what do Traditional Irish Music and the Suzuki method of teaching kids to play violin have in common? There the same thing.
| | It's all about playing by ear and memorizing the "tunes". Both use the technique, one as a foundation and the other as a starting point. Suzuki method revolutionized the teaching of strings years ago. I doubt there's a string teacher who doesn't believe it works (even if many still don't use it). So the Celtic approach makes a lot of sense. |
