Metronomes = discipline Permanent link to this item in the archive.

It's sad how slowly I can really play things. The metronome doesn't wait while I try to remember, so I have to go slow enough that my memory can keep up with time..

I had to drop back to 60bpm to even get close. I am hanging there, not quite perfect but pretty close. I can do fairly well on this tune at 63 but fall apart again at 66 ...

so we do more time at 60 as we learn to play it and relax.Ain't discipline fun?

Looks like I haven't punched the "Build RSS" button for the last few days. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Or if I did, nothing's in the RSS but today's entries. Hmmm. That's a bit disappointing.

I remember something on the YGroup from months ago. Perchance, I shall worry about it later.

Looks like we blew through spring in three or four days. Marine layer fog is back(?). Not a bad situation but it might be rain instead.

Rowed 6162m in 30 minutes. 2:26.1 but HR settled at 131 at the end (a good thing).

Watching Orinda. Watching the world.
