My nodes do not have icons. If I add a link with the right click menu I do not see an arrow as I'm accustomed to seeing in Radio.
Is there something wrong with my OPML? I'm on a Mac.
I'm delighted to have discovered the Event Log. Actually, I'm surprised to have discovered it.
Why does the command Community>Open Log Outline show the user a window titled "Event Log". OK, I know the answer. I'm just making the point that this is confusing to a new user. I think the command should be changed to "Open Event Log".
No sooner had I typed that I needed to look for docs when a mention of Lisa's outline showed up in my NetNewsWire app. I pasted her outline into my Buddies list. Not sure that this is really the "correct" way to do this but I figure I'll know when there's been an update.
I'd ask for time now but don't want to push my luck.
Oh man. I've got a lot to learn. I create directories in ~:OPML:www:blog: and drop files in there. I look in the Events Log (which I just discovered) and see that the file has indeed been uploaded. But when I go to the site I see something like this
| C:InetpubwwwroothostingOpmlOrgpetercookblogabout |
There's also a macro error above the xml icon.
| € [Macro error: Can't evaluate the expression because the name "opmlfile" hasn't been defined.] |
So clearly these files are not quite "blessed". Help! Time to look for some docs. This may not be the week for this. Lots going on in real life.
Donovan has been tweaking the layout of his opml blog if I'm not mistaken. He's been titivating. OK! New word for me.
