Dave pitches the OPML Editor Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Sounds to me that he's describing thoughtstream concept.

Did you ever have an idea you wanted to post on your blog that didn't seem big enough to be an essay? An idea that could be expressed in a sentence, or less, but still deserved to get out there? In writing school they teach that less is better. If you can say someting in three words instead of twenty, say it in three. It communicates better. Well, none of the existing blogging tools can do little sentence or phrase-size blog posts. [Scripting News]

Yeah baby!

 kissin' cousins.

i'm thinking about an opml editor/radio userland mashup. might be a great way to have our cake and eat it too. i'm talkin' bout creating opml files and having them rendered as html files.

I've already dropped a couple of tools from my Radio installation into OPML. It's fun to play with this and to bounce ideas around. But I'm thinking that Dave has got to be planning on building this functionality into the app.

dean finds a post on the OPML support forum that verifies marty's email to me which says that one must indeed have access to the opml community server in order to add entries to the glossary. not good.

no, not good.

this bit below should be in the FAQ, under, "How can I make it easy for other OPML'ers to suscribe to my Instant Outline?"

in your opml editor, choose 'OPML Coffee Mug' from the 'Community:Instant Outliner' menu. a new window will appear with some code in it. copy and paste that code into your template.opml file, perhaps into the sidebar area. this will produce a coffee mug on your site that other opmlers can simply click on to instantly subscribe to your outline.

Want to write/read more but . . . long day. Very tired.
