opmlPete has been wrangling the community server and taking some notes on where he thinks the editor should be installed. you on a mac or pc, pete? By dwatts@gmail.com (Donovan Watts). ]
Not that you asked but in case you were headed this way . . the server is running (I think) on my wife's machine. I have the client. I assume I need one of each. The server accepted the password. I tried switching communities. Had a bit of weirdness. More in my outline. I don't have much experience running servers so I might be simply trying to do too much . . . getting in over my head.
I think we're all seeing the same thing at the same time.
| What he said. What Scott Rosenberg is saying about round corners and cutsiness on Web 2.0 sites seems related to my ramble on Saturday about the slicked-up unoriginal concepts. I love fluffy frosting, but only if it sits atop a nice rich chocolate cake made heavy with chocolate chips and pudding. Just the frosting slathered on a bit of meringue won't satisfy in the long run, and it'll probably crash. [Amyloo's OPML blog] |
