Notes on using NewsRiver I am still checking out the different features in the OPML Editor, but I have noticed some problems in unsubscribing from feeds. A few weeks ago, I imported Jon Udell's Bloglines OPML file. I then tried to delete all the feeds I was not interested in, but a large number of them kept showing up. I don't know if the problem was that a scan had started while I was trying to unsubscribe, or if there was some other problem. Today, I started a scan, waited until it was done, then deleted the rest of the feeds I did not want. I will see if it takes full effect this time. |
