Some time ago, I imported a large OPML subscription file into NewsRiver (over 300 feeds). I started whittling them down, and now I have 42 subscriptions when I look at the "NewsRiver: Subscriptions" page. I noticed, though, that I seem to be getting stories from weblogs other than the ones I have subscribed to. In the About OPML window, I see that it reaches 192 threads. This does not seem to make sense. After some looking around, I found that aggregatorData.root.services is a table with 194 items, which look like feed URLs. I wonder if this is the list that is being scanned. If it is, why does it not match the subscription list that I see in the browser? |
