OPML is for Storing and Sharing Structured Data Permanent link to this item in the archive.

More thoughts on OPML - I have been thinking about one of the uses of OPML. OPML can be used to store and share structured data. With self-referenced links to additional information, and then further reference to that referenced. The Free Open Protocol World Wide Linkup Tool.

Hmmm, I wonder what an OPML FORM would look like? Perhaps Kosso already has an idea of what that would look like, and how it would be processed?

Can OPML data be "Indexed"? "Sorted"? Yes, on the back-end and then rendered out to the front end.

OPML - how about a light weight data transport and sharing tool. Yes, the transport mechanism and the data all in one package. Sounds to me like a convenient way to transmit knowledge with the overhead of a database engine.

OPML in Second Gear, or Third? Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I have noticed that there is more activity surrounding OPML these days. It seems as if a certain synergy has happened, or maybe the Big Mo (as in Momemtum) has started to kick in. Many new tools and happenings around the web are going on with OPML. Even the new MS Live site has an OPML importer!

There are many, many more uses for OPML. This is just the beginning, the creativity is starting to flow...

Kicking some Corporate You Know What Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Anybody know how to kick some Corp booty? I do...

Yes, I admit that I am gloating...

Ever present and then successfully implement a simple, low-cost solution that is millions of dollars less than the competing solution, in less than 1/10th the time? I did...

Ever royally upset the apple cart? heh..., I did...

Boy, it sure gets hot in the IT kitchen sometimes. But then, it wouldn't be much fun if you didn't teach someone a valuable lesson in "providing what the user wants" type of technology every once in a while. Innovators find ways to just get it done, whilst naysayers are too busy saying things like, "You Can't Do That". Just watch me...
