You Must Listen to the Customer, if you Don't Listen, you Lose... Scoble is really cooking with this post about Microsoft, Google, Yahoo and who gets paid for advertising, and who doesn't. I think that he is starting to listen to the customer, and at the same time has put together some key information about what some of his customers want. He seems to have riled up some developers at MS, and that is good. But, you must not listen to the developer, unless the developer is listening to the Customer. If Microsoft is really changing their tune to a service company with the launch of Microsoft Live, then that is a good thing. We will see what happens. I think that the disruption must happen at Microsoft first, and Scoble is a catalyst for that. I foresee change in the air at Microsoft. Go Scoble!!! Make Google API an Open Standard Let's make the Google API an Open Standard. Here is my vote Dave. VS .NET 2005 and SQL 2005 Ready Launch on November 7th I will be in SF on November 7th, to attend the launch of these two products. I have decided to attempt to live blog the event, even though I have found live blogging to be a distraction while I am watching a presentation. I hope to pickup some good information and maybe meet some folks while I am there. |
