Amyloo Asked About My Daughters Permanent link to this item in the archive.

They are 11 and 16. The teen years. Yikes!!! God Help me. The 11 year old is into ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop dancing, plays the viola, and American Girl dolls. The 16 year old is gorgeous (which is why I took up Japanese sword fighting two years ago, with real swords - I am serious!) is in high-school, driving a car on a provisional California license (a story for another time), plays violin and viola, and is into poetry, and acting, and has been horseback riding (English) for the last 10 years. They are the joy of my life and I love them both dearly.

What is the Microsoft Origami Project? Permanent link to this item in the archive.

It looks like a project for a cool looking little device that resembles a tablet PC that does Everything!!!

A very strange but cool flash-based teaser video shows us. See here. I found this via some links from Microsoft site. Looks like a leak to me.

Note: I think the video stops and starts due to server traffic at the source.

Update - See the video here, I think, let's see if this cut and pastie thing works, Yes!:

Happy Birthday to Me Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Well, I don't usually toot my own horn too often, but at this ripe old age of 52, I like to do it once in a while...

Went out to my favorite Sushi place and had dinner with my family. Yumm! I also like apple pie. My Mother made the best, of course, but in this day and age, French Apple from Marie Calendars is quite good. Aaaah, I am easy to please...

I received a Nano Ipod for my birthday gift. The girls were astounded that my wife bought me one. They are drooling..., heheh...

I see that Les (0xDECAFBAD) is using HaloScan Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I wonder if it is working for him. I have wondered about whether or not comments are useful for this blog for quite awhile. Ever since it started actually. If Dave Winer ever turns off the switch, I wonder if the new Community server will offer comments.
