AmigoFish lets you input an OPML of your podcast/videoblog subscriptions and get back recommendations. You can even subscribe to an RSS feed of things AmigoFish predicts you'll like, and use that to get random goodstuff in your podcatcher. Yakov Shafranovich has created SingleSub, which stores information about one-click RSS subscriptions for many different rss aggregators -- like Bloglines and Yahoo! Library Clips: "This way all you do is get RSSlabs to host your OPML file, then when someone finds it they can import it into PowerPoint." Better! The other person doesn't even have to have Power Point to be able to see and read your stuff. Microsoft Office is expensive -- not something you'd want to buy just to read one presentation. That holy grail is the finding of the best sources and content that can help them do their researching and reporting job betterBut creating, sharing and maintaining OPML feeds list has not exactly been a task any non-technical users could afford to do that easily. I'm guessing that this was printed in the US version of CIO Magazine first, but I love the idea it's going out to the Silicon Valley of India.
