Kosso: "...to be honest I really miss it. And I miss all you users and readers. But it has been very productive for me to take a seat in the back and get on with the pile of projects I have going on here, since leaving the BBC. I really needed to do it. It was getting a bit overwhelming."

Matt Haughey (who is behind Metafilter) has launched ReBlog, a server-side feedreader. It'll be interesting to see someone who really, really gets blogging put together an RSS reader. One of my frustrations with RSS readers I've used is how poorly they support publishing. Many RSS reader developers don't seem to get that I read feeds because I blog, and I see it as part of a lifecycle. They think that adding support for blogging is bloat. I disagree, it's the natural endpoint for their app.  Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Tom Morris liveblogs Richard Dawkins at the London School of Economics. The OPML Editor is a great liveblogging platform. The best I've ever used for that purpose.  Permanent link to this item in the archive.
