MyTunes RSS is a server-based app that takes your iTunes playlists and creates web-accessible RSS feeds of them. Lance: "Lastnight while working on some new RSS-related projects, I created a simple app to Export your entire list of IE Favorites to OPML (XML)." Here's one that exports Safari bookmarks to OPML, too. Xavier Borderie: "Expliquez-moi... Le format OPML." Hi Donovan! and Hi Sprocket! Charlie Wood is at SAPphire, the user conference for SAP. SAP makes accounting, manufacturing, and HR software for gigundomat companies, and is the second largest software company in the world behind Microsoft. Charlie's looking for applications of RSS in gigundomat companies. URLFan ranks sites by the popularity of their RSS feeds. Rocks in the River points to a story: "Apple CEO Steve Jobs a no-show at award named after him." Steve Jobs Award is given out by Wired, they were giving him one, I guess. I remember being really excited by Wired way back when, but the "front of the book" section of pictures of strange gizmos has been eclipsed by blogs, and the feature articles, which magazines still do well, have declined in quality. Notice you never hear about how blogs are going to kill the New Yorker. |
