Chris Pirillo: "OPML is great - and for feed organization, it’s equally awesome. Just about every news aggregator supports importing and exporting OPML, but there hasn’t yet emerged an OPML icon design that is equally as appealing as the “standard” feed icon set forth by Firefox and subsequently adopted by the industry." Chris has a mockup of a suggested icon, so go look and give him your two cents on whether you like it or not. Tom Morris: Wordpress.com recently implemented an XML Import/Export function in WordPress. I can't find any documentation of the format. Even if the documentation hasn't appeared yet, this is great news. Bloggers desperately need easier ways to backup, preserve, and move their blogs across platforms. Kudos to Matt and the WP People for being so committed to user ownership of data. Easy Stylesheets in your OPML Weblog Eric took the OPML of Gnomedex attendees and made it into Outlook contacts of those same attendees.. Wonder if that would work in Thunderbird? I hate Outlook with the fire of 1,000 suns. Alex Barnett: My Six Predictions on Microformats |
