I just reported a moment ago that Coldplay split up. They haven't. They made some hard-to-interpret remarks and not been very lucid. Meh. I don't ever hear about stuff like this anymore, and I don't particularly care. 

Peter Wall on why the Olympics sucks: "Sure, you've got all the rhetoric about how the world comes together at the Olympics, which is great and all, but if it actually meant something, I would be impressed." Oh boy, we've got the Olympics in London in a few years. I guess we weren't happy with the overturned salad bowl in Greenwich. Now we need another pointless "community" structure that will serve the community of advertising directors and brand managers plus a few sports fans all while ignoring the fact that ordinary stuff like pubs and restaurants and upcoming serve the "community" far better than a giant international school sports day. But then, like Peter, I'm a cynic too.
