I have just published a review of The New Elites by George Walden. 
This idea is pretty dumb. RSS serves up everything we need for now. We just need to script a few other functions and we've got everything we need, without carting around a big Offline Web.
I'm just listening to Alex Barnett's OPML Podcast. Very cool. We need a sort of collaborative RSS feed for OPML podcasted discussion.

Katie Couric recently repeated the down-and-out lie that there are no atheists in foxholes. Perhaps she could tell that face-to-face with the Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers. Perhaps she could tell it to the parents of the atheists who've given their lives in military service. Perhaps she should read this. And visit the monument in Alabama. Actually, why spoil a journalism career with facts? Getting the wrong answers hasn't stopped the thousands of journalists in the past...
Talking of kooks, David Horowitz is being very uncouth for someone who's pushing a movement to make academics more responsible. I'm glad this guy isn't my professor.
