Bug of the day: I've just discovered an interesting thing about iTunes. If it tries to download a podcast and fails, it still keeps a copy of the half-downloaded file in your ~/Music/iTunes/Podcasts folder. I've just discovered a gig or two of 'lost' space on my HDD because of downloads that failed. It would be interesting to know if there's any software out there that would clean them out. I've got a half-downloaded copy of Adam Curry's Gnomedex 5.0 speech from last year which I've just thrown out, for crying out loud. Apple needs to fix this bug and make downloading more reliable (I mean, what with wget -c and a BSD backend in OS X, exactly how difficult is it to resume a file download these days?). 

The US immigration and border patrol are incompetent, as this story demonstrates. And you guys want to give more power to these goons?
