Having gone off on a totally pointless Google search, I am left with only one statement. And it's about Richard Whitely. "I'll miss his gaudy ties and his awful puns and the way he was totally out of touch with the intricacies of the modern world". And then down the page slightly, "I met him once at York Train station, about 3 years ago wearing a bright pink suit". Oh my. ![]()
There's a motherfucking beverage on this motherfucking plane!! ![]()
Go and listen to Ian and Sarah's podcast about religion. It's very good. ![]()
The digg-to-OPML tool that I posted yesterday hit the front page of digg while I was asleep last night. Check this out. It also had celebrity endorsement by one "kevinrose" - which is good, considering that it uses screen scraping to pull the friends data from the digg site.
It's currently at 424 504 diggs and counting.
What more could a geek want than a digg thread with "cool!", "very nice and quick" etc. My favourite comment? "It felt like a secret portal to myself".
Mike has posted it. And fack.org and Stephen at Netweb picked up the digg story. Thanks to y'all.
In my e-mail, there's a little bit more spam than usual, plus there's two e-mails from my web host - "critical maintenance notification".
So, what do you do when you've hit the front page of digg? Oh, the usual - have breakfast, go to the supermarket, hope the hosting keep their servers running...
