Unfortunately, I don't have any "personal lubricants". I have yet to find a use for ass-jelly, but if I could get my hands on some, I'd love to take it on board in the morning. More so that I could hold it up and scare people (the phrase "sex terrorist" comes to mind) than actually use it. (Via Pharyngula) ![]()
Well, what's all this then? Much as I dislike writing about the umming and aahing of the NuLabs, this is of some importance. Finally, Blair is going to quit. And, Tom Watson, blogger and exposer of the irony-illiterate - is Tom Waton the first blogger to be called a shit by the Prime Minister?

I'm trying MAMP 1.3.1. I was using XAMPP on Windows (when I had the misfortune of spending more than a few days on that platform) and it was perfect. I haven't got the time to screw around building a testing server. I just want to be able to test stuff locally. ![]()
I'm having great difficulty getting PHP to run on my Mac. I've reinstalled OS X and now I'm downloading Xcode (938.2 Mb) in order to recompile Apache and PHP. ![]()
One of my favourite Web 2.0 sites, Remember the Milk has added a mobile version to their offerings. Here's their announcement and the mobile site itself. This is extremely useful, especially when you combine it with the print-out version.
If I can find a way to automate print outs, it would be very easy to build a "dead tree" aggregator. Think about it - your computer grabs a whole bunch of pages, renders them up in a printer-friendly style and prints them out for you at a set time. That way, you can wake up, wander over to your printer and grab a bunch of pages.
The President gets a daily briefing every morning. Now, he's a bit dim and probably doesn't read them. Paper is a great medium. It doesn't fail if you lose the stylus or run out of batteries. It doesn't rely on expensive and shaky connections. And, best of all, if someone steals your print-outs, unless you've got something sensitive on them, you lose nothing.
