The popularity of World of Warcraft? It's all about the sex. Probably not safe for work, unless your employer enjoys that sort of thing. 

I've put together a new upcoming.org group called GetSemantic. It's for events related to what is going on with GetSemantic. Hopefully, there should be a London event announced in the next day or so.

Did you know that the US Mint very briefly stopped producing coins that broke the First Amendment's establishment clause? It's amazing that the government obey the law by mistake, then promptly fix it again. 

Semantic London starts March 16th 

If you are interested in the Semantic Web - with both lower and upper case - and you are able to get to London next Friday night, come along for the first Semantic London. Sign up either on upcoming.org or the wiki page.

It'll be at a pub somewhere in Central London - to be confirmed once I've got an idea of numbers. It'll be geek dinner style. If you just want another event which you are tangentially interested in to meet people at, this counts. If you are interested in what, where, how and why to use or get involved with microformats, RDF, semantic web and related technologies and ideas, then please do come along.

Will it happen? I hope so. If it doesn't, we don't lose anything. It's worth a try.
