What's missing in this discussion No one on the podium is talking about "time-based media" - videos, audio, other kinds of things that move. This is primarily about digitizing The Book - the dead trees book - and not about all of the bundles of details and issues surrounding the Things That Move. Bill Tozier - http://williamtozier.com/slurry/ - Ann Arbor Bill and Barbara issued the Commemorative Library Digitization Symposium edition of Anthony Hope's The Indiscretion of the Duchess, which he scanned in, OCR'd, proofread, laid out, and typeset.
