transparent; beauty; expression and authentic and visceral; (scott) comics as form, testing and experimenting with it

technology of print gives comics its shape...what comes after when we go from print to computers?

pre-print comics: continuous unbroken line; print, edge of page does not turn, but has page breaks;

page is limited space, monitor is limited space, what next? unless the monitor is a window on a larger space. does not go down well at low speeds; the web does just fine with page shaped small comics self produced, creating small communities.

"cheerful nerds".

"PUP" ponders the head death of the universe. drew weing.

left to right continuous strip. continuous canvas, not just turning a page. moving camera = just screwing around. experimenters try anything and everything, then storytellers pick it up and say "hey we know what to do with this". e-sheep.com.
