When you start to look at reading lists it makes you realise just how small the scope of your own reading and listening is when compared with what is available out there. That can be frustrating, but at least we're not all reading the same thing. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I know there's a new OPML editor out there but I can't bring myself to install it just for an icon. Call me soft, but having worked with software for so long I like to minimise the number of times that I make changes to an otherwise fully functional system. Outlining is addictive. I know we've all be outlining for years using simple text files:

TODO
DONE Format Disk
-    Install O/S
-        Disks in machine room.
-    Install Application Software.
