Wow... Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I'm still around, guys. I just haven't done too much here in the way of testing.

One thing that I was thinking about is that it might be pretty nice to use the OPML editor as a local application, rather than public. This would help get my thoughts down in this "great" outline tool, without showing up for the whole world to see. Sometimes, there's a need for that...

I Think This Is A First Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I usually agree with Dave Winer on just about everything that he does or says. Even though we have a difference of opinion on the way we look at politics, I think that what he has done for the technology and the community has been great.

That said, I think that Dave got it all wrong in his latest podcast.

I Miss You Guys Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I need to post, over here more often, but I figured for now I should, at least post something in here, every few days. There may be some sort of epiphany that is brought about by something I post. Yeah...right.

I have been sleeping a little better since taking a break from this.

It doesn't look like too many ideas are "springing to life" out of this thing, lately.

Looks like Todd wants to demo the OPML software. How are you going to demo the software, Todd? Couldn't you just have your listeners try out the software, themselves?

The Instant Outliner won't allow you to share, the way that you have in mind.

Subscribe to my Instant Outline and a few more to see how the colaboration has been done. I list who I'm subscribed to, in my right-hand column, here.

"Dave's Got A Mac"!!! - - - So What!!!... next:

I can't wait to see what comes out of the talk between Mr. Winer and Mr Mullenweg. I'd also like to see an API between the OPML editor and Mambo.

Any ideas on exactly what the API between WordPress and the OPML Editor would handle?

Dave's getting pretty ambitious. That's a GOOD thing... remember! Ambition! He's also getting tired of NOTHING happening because of little things that people just need to get over, and move on!

This "is" a community project and "we" are the community, whether you like it, or not!

Most of us are here to help and move things forward. We're not here for the drama, or the song and dance. That's not what this is really all about, is it? Enough music. Enough arguing. Enough of this "test, test, test" posting.

What's wrong with Yahoo Groups, Dave? I have some wiki software that will do (almost) the same thing, but the learning curve on it is "really" high. In my opinion, Yahoo keeps it easy and gives you most (if not all) of the features that any group needs.
