New OPML Users Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I wonder how many new people start using this program, every day...

Lisa should have a working copy of the User's Manual, soon. If you need help on some of that, I'm sure some of us will be glad to, if asked.

Even though HaloScan is an external solution, I think it could get some more support, internally. Tibor has comments and trackbacks working now. ...and oh yeah! We really want this function!

Looks like Dave's gona' drive right by...

Eighteen to Twenty Percent Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I'm just guessing at the actual percentage, but the amount of submissions that keep coming in to PodcastHost every day, is growing. The last number that I heard was that there were somewhere between 4000 and 5000 podcasts out there. Since all of the podcasts that are included in the directory at PodcastHost, I don't think that 18% - 20% of them is too bad. I'm sure that if all of them started to show up, I wouldn't be able to keep up. I'm adding them all, by hand, myself.

The software that I'm using at the site (Mambo) seems to be able to create an OPML file. I looked at it for a little while, the other night. I don't know if it'll be able to do what I want, though. Time to go home and sleep...

200 Miles Away Permanent link to this item in the archive.

A few days ago, I said that Dave was headed my way. Well, right now, he's only about 200 miles from me, and still moving in my general direction. I haven't heard a thing from him, however, and I really don't expect him to swing up and take the high road (Interstate-94) to come see the "World's Largest Buffalo".

The header graphic that I'm using right now, by the way, was taken while I was visiting Frontier Village with my wife and youngest son, a couple weeks ago. The huge buffalo was standing "directly" behind me as I was taking it. This one is of the skyline to the South.

I sure hope that Andrew explains this a little bit better, after he wakes up. Looks like it's working great, but I can't see how he's linking it.

By the way...Yes, I'm cheating right now. I couldn't help myself. I had to pull up Outlook to check on some emialed reservations, and I decided to just take care of the rest. I saw Andrews "Comments Anyone?" post, and had to check it out.

I guess my only questions are: How easy is it to add? Does something "special" have to be added after every post? Is there a way to "hide" the commenter's emial address? Any thought's about how this will be able to control comment spam, in the future?

I like what you've done! Just a few questions, though.
